Literature Text

Tomorrow’s morning waits beyond
The rim of the Southern world
But yesterday is slipping fast
Behind the sea unfurled.

The North remembers days before
The moon was bathed in red
And yet the Western shadow
Vermillion wings has spread.

Far beyond the bitter stones
And the rolling crash of the sea,
Look out from icy mountains.
What in the East do you see?
A poem from my personal fiction, a little children's rhyme from the country of Jeroia, which is a tiny, peaceful place stuffed firmly between the three most actively waring countries in Aelia.

It makes all kinds of references that you likely won't catch since I haven't written all the fiction that goes around it, but it was fun to write and sort of rinky-dinky singy-songy, and so I posted it.
