Happy Fourth, to those of you who consider it a holiday--and to everyone else, well, hope you had a great July day all the same.

We went to a bitty festival held by the American Club today, and I spent approximately $90 on Indonesian stuffs. Necklaces, some photos, a hand carved helicopter for my sickly nephew who had to stay home...Plus we played tug of war, ate hamburgers, and listened to an Air Force band. No fireworks, but it was fun.

I also wanted to tell you folks who gave me art requests lightyears ago and have never seen them (~philosophyfox, ~Rad1986, ~babyrainbou), I haven't forgotten. I just...found quite a few projects to do, so that's good! If you're lucky, I will wait to do them until I have a tablet again. Then they will look better.

Man, I wish my Mac was here! I'm pumped about Death of Lions--it's pretty much my first story ever to actually have a plan for the entire plot (admitedly, it is far from ironed out, but I have...an indefinate amount of time to do that). I have so much work to do to get my art on par with my vision for it, though. Like, oh my gravy, perspective work! And humans! And...the fact that I have no idea how to go about constructing a comic! Which I think it has to be.

Yikes.

If you know of any stellar perspective or comic-creating tutorials or websites, please send them my way. I majored in art, but somehow managed to never learn beyond the very basics of perspective...

That's not the only project right now, either. I'm tenatively rearranging the looks of the Paeli, the basically anthropomorphic My Little Pony characters I have had for most of all time. I'm not sure what I'll do with them, but I'd like something a little more...original. Than ponies with hands. Maybe! We'll see.

Also, still working on just normal old painting stuff (see scraps!). I am just aching for my Photoshop. By the time I get home, I'll have forgotten most of the seemingly great ideas I am having right now. Oh well.
